Sea of Stars is an old-school RPG game that, although it draws on the scheme developed by the cult items from the era of eight and sixteen bits, enriches it with completely new solutions drawn from action games and even platformers. The production is a prequel of the warmly received the Messenger, and was developed by its authors, that is, the independent team Sabotage Studio. The project was created thanks to a successful crowdfunding campaign.

Sea of Stars PC Download is set long before the events of the Messenger. During the game, we take control of a duo of so-called Children Of The Solstice. The protagonists wielding Eclipse Magic are the only ones with the power to stop the sinister Fleshmancer and his army of monsters from threatening the land they inhabit.

Play Sea of Stars begins with the choice of two heroes from the six available characters. Each of the characters has unique abilities, as well as a set of individual strengths. Then we have no choice but to proceed to the proper gameplay, during which we observe the action from a bird’s eye view.

The vast world presented consists of a variety of islands, between which we move on board the boat. It is not only a means of transport, but also our starting point, where we can, for example, have a chat with our companions. After reaching the shore, we indulge in free exploration, diversified by platform sections requiring jumping over precipices and avoiding traps. In addition, during the game, we encounter numerous characters (some we could meet in the Messenger, while others are completely new), for whom we perform various tasks that push the plot forward and side missions. As we progress, we gain experience points and advance to the next levels, gradually developing the skills of our wards, and as a result – increasing their combat potential.

Fighting against enemies plays an important role in Sea of Stars PC Download. Clashes take place in turn-based mode,and during them it is not so much the level of the character that matters, but the tactics we defend. So if we are not coping in a given skirmish, the solution will not be to grind, but to change our approach and try new solutions. The battle takes place in the places where we meet our opponents.
