We arrive on a barren, uninhabited planet with a handful of the most necessary things to establish a new colony and your own farm. Although scientists say it shouldn’t be that way, our planet has many of the elements necessary for life to function. Why this is so, as well as other secrets of this place, we can discover by exploring the centuries-old ruins guarded by robots. As the new settlement develops, it attracts more residents who set up homes in our growing town. We must ensure that the colony flourishes, sometimes protecting it from outside threats such as greedy bureaucrats, in order to defend its independence.

After creating a character, the gameplay begins as a lone Colonist with a robotic pet on his farm, with a handful of items to start with, including a useful, multi – purpose gadget-a technological glove. On the farm we can do m.in. growing plants, raising animals, building infrastructure or cooking. By performing various activities, we increase our proficiency and statistics. We have to make a choice whether our farm will be natural, with traditional terrestrial organisms, or we will go the synthetic path with robo-cows and genetic engineering being the order of the day. Each of the options has its advantages and disadvantages, affecting the ability to cope with difficult conditions on the planet or the value of the products obtained. Over time, we become more and more self-sufficient, and even earn on the resources produced.
