Hexoplanet is an economic strategy game about cute robots preparing a new planet for human colonization. Max Gittel, an independent developer from Germany, is responsible for the creation of the game, who began to create it as a hobby in order to eventually develop the project into a commercial title.

As with most economic strategies, also in Hexoplanet Download for PC history does not play the most important role. All we know is that robots have been sent to the new planet by humans to make it habitable. Recently, they have gained self-awareness in order to better perform their task. In the long run, however, they develop the ability to question certain facts, such as being someone’s property deprived of freedoms.

The gameplay Model in Hexoplanet resembles the one known for example from Factorio. Observing the available terrain from above, we move through it with robots in real time, collecting resources and choosing where we will put the next buildings of our base. In order to continuously increase the efficiency of the infrastructure, we build special machines and factories. They increase the number of our robots or create the products needed for human survival in these conditions. Completion of construction or recruitment requires a certain amount of time and robots, so we must carefully plan each next step – otherwise our development will stop due to the lack of available resources or machines.

There are also ways to make buildings and robots more efficient. Regardless of the production, we can organize special research and develop new schemes, giving access to the creation of completely new facilities. When managing the base, we should adhere to one principle: our actions must contribute to the continuous increase in the efficiency of the machines and to making the planet habitable.

Hexoplanet Download for PC is distinguished by a very colorful graphic setting and an unusual treatment consisting in giving many objects a hexagonal shape (hexagonal). Attention is also drawn to the refined atmospheric and lighting effects.
