The Sinking City Download is an action adventure game saved in the horror Convention and with RPG elements, the development of which is the Ukrainian Studio Frogwares – the authors of the warmly received issue devoted to the adventures of Sherlock Holmes. Interestingly, this title originated originally as the Call of Cthulhu, the release of which was to be engaged in the company Focus Home Interactive. The Sinking City takes us on a journey to the United States from the twenties of the XX century, namely – the depressed town of Oakmont in Massachusetts, which hit a large flood caused by supernatural forces. The investigation of this case occurred with detective Charles W. reed, who on the way to investigate not only the causes of this phenomenon, but also faces madness and doubts, increasingly covering both the inhabitants of Oakmont and himself.

In The Sinking City the action is shown from the point of view of a third party (TPP). The authors give us at the disposal of the city, consisting of several areas (the game world-the largest of the Studio created Frogwares), in which we move both on foot and by boat or wetsuit for diving. The driving force of the game is implemented in any order of task contract through neutral characters, each of which can be performed in several ways (by the way, using reed’s skills allows him to watch ghosts from the past). As the plot unfolds non-linearly, it has several endings – what we will see determines our actions in the process of adventure.
