Layers of Fear 2 is a sequel to the horror Convention adventure game from 2016. Production was developed by the authors of the prototype, that is, the Polish Studio Blober Team, and its release was engaged in the American company Gun Media. The name was originally known by the working name Project Melis, which is a reference to the name of one of the pioneers of cinema, George Méliesa.

In Layers of Fear 2 PC Download you play as a famous actor. He got the role in the film, shot on Board a floating transatlantic ship, and it is on the ship that the whole game takes place. During the game, we often hear the voice of the Director, who expects the actor to perform at the highest level. The Director never appears personally on the screen, but above all, is responsible for preparing the scene in which decisions are made. They can meet the expectations of the Director or contradict the script prepared by him. Throughout the game we reach four main options that determine the end of the adventure. Layers of Fear 2 can offer three very different endings.

Just like the first part, Layers of Fear 2 is filled with weird and left its stages. During the study of the transatlantic, we do not meet people, but simply face mannequins located in different poses. The layout and decoration of many rooms are changing dynamically and as a result we will again find ourselves in the same positions, which, however, can offer new content that allows you to look at everything from a different point of view.

Game Mechanic

In Layers of Fear 2, the action is shown in the first person (FPP). Most of the time we spend studying other areas of the ship. It is enriched by interacting with objects from the environment. Some of them we can take with us; all these findings are stored in the cabin of the hero, where all subsequent action adventures begin. In Layers of Fear 2, there were also a lot of logical puzzles and the environment. We may, for example, be forced to determine the correct combination to the safe, overlay images with moving elements, open huge storage doors, restore electricity supplies to a given part of the ship, or find competent film footage likely in the projector. Puzzles in the game is not too difficult; in addition, very often in the area are clues that will help to deal with them.

In Layers of Fear 2 PC Download sometimes stumbles upon sections of the arcade. This is, above all, a variety of escape scenes in which we have to hide or run away from threats (the hero is completely helpless). Arcade episodes can also be applied, for example, avoiding areas illuminated by headlights.
