Ixion PC Download presents us with a grim vision of a future in which the earth, haunted by successive cataclysms, is becoming less and less habitable. The corporation dolos decided to face the problems and organize a mission, whose task is to find a new home for humanity. In the course of the game, we play the administrator of the giant Tiqqun station, traveling through interstellar space in search of a habitable planet.

In Ixion PC Download we observe the action from a bird’s eye view. During the game on our heads rest all aspects of the operation of the station Tiqqun. We must not only take care of its infrastructure and manage its population, but also develop new technologies and deal with the problems that arise during space travel on an ongoing basis. All this is complicated by the fact that, cut off from all supplies, we have to find the necessary raw materials ourselves.

The station has been divided into six sectors, within which, as progress is made, new structures are being erected for additional crew members. During the journey, we are not doomed only to the people with whom we started the space crossing. Over time, we can not only start to wake up more astronauts from cryogenic sleep, but also to host on board members of other expeditions or, for example, people pulled from the wreckage.

New technologies developed by scientists on the station allow us to create and send into space reconnaissance probes, and eventually also mining ships and cargo ships, thanks to which it is possible to trade with other stations. It should not be forgotten that interstellar space is not a safe place; a collision with a fragment of space debris is enough to create a hole in the hull of the station, and overloaded power generators can easily cause a fire. For this reason, it is worthwhile to think ahead of time about Plan B or even to create an emergency power supply.
