Halls of Torment is an arena survival game, a production combining elements of roguelike action RPGs and bullet hell shooters, realized in a form reminiscent of such titles as Vampire Survivors and Soulstone Survivors. The game was developed by the independent studio Chasing Carrots.

Halls of Torment PC Download takes us on a journey into a dark fantasy universe. During the game, we play as one of the Daredevils who decide to descend into the eponymous halls of torment in order to face the dangers lurking in them and face the Lords of the underworld residing there.

In Halls of Torment, we see the action in isometric view. The production puts at our disposal a number of playable characters that differed in terms of ability and fighting style. After choosing one of them, we have no choice but to throw ourselves into the vortex of bloody action. The gameplay in the described title is based on fierce duels in various arenas. During the clashes, we repel the next waves of hellish creatures, at all costs trying to survive to the end of their attack, which is crowned by a skirmish with one of the tormented Lords, acting here as bosses. Battles are incredibly dynamic, and during them the key to success is to be in constant motion and avoid enemy attacks and skillfully juggle the abilities of our character. Depending on which of the latter we choose, we eliminate enemies by short-circuiting, using ranged weapons or using magic; we can also make use of elements of the environment and traps.

In addition to eliminating the taboos of opponents, during the game we carry out the tasks set before us. A moment of respite from the breeding of enemies, however, is provided by visits to the camp, where we can prepare for further skirmishes. As we progress, we acquire better and better equipment, as well as develop characters, unlocking new skills and improving existing ones, as well as gaining various perks. In addition, over time, we gain access to an increasing range of heroes.

Halls of Torment PC Download has a fairly simple graphic design that evokes associations with RPGs and hack’n’slashes from the late 90s. 20th century. The whole thing was kept in a dark, gloomy style, reminiscent of the first Diablo.
