Disco Elysium is an unconventional isometric role-playing game in the climates of policy criminal noir, in which the developed narrative layer comes to the fore, and the fight occurs sporadically. It is the debut production of the Estonian studio ZA / UM.

Disco Elysium PC Game Download – Review:

The action takes place in a gloomy fictional world, where familiar cultures and technological or ideological elements characteristic of the first half of the 20th century mix – from the communist revolution to disco music. We impersonate a penniless police officer who has just drunk so effectively that he has forgotten who and where he is – but soon he is forced to become functional, as he has to solve an extremely difficult case of lynching committed in a poor district of the coastal city of Revachol. The investigation may as well give him a chance to get out of the hole, as it may ultimately plunge him into the depths of madness and addiction. Fortunately, our hero can count on the support of his assigned partner, lieutenant Kim kitsuragi.

Disco Elysium PC Game Download does not shy away from taking on difficult topics and philosophical reflections, but mitigates it with an original style full of sarcasm, grotesque and black humor.

At first glance, Disco Elysium resembles a classic RPG with an isometric view. We observe the world through a fixed camera (you can only zoom in and out), in the center of which is the hero. Gameplay comes down to exploring locations and interacting with characters or environments. The latter were realized in text form, with the addition of animations sometimes accompanying the actions taken.

Importantly, Disco Elysium PC Game Download does not have a traditionally conceived fight. Dangerous situations happen very rarely and are resolved using the dialog-based on the selected options, the game performs tests of various skills of the hero. There is no time pressure; the player can think calmly before taking action. But although the hero is not often threatened by direct danger, the player must guard his health and morale points, because he can die, for example, from a heart attack (caused, for example, by recalling traumatic memories or becoming a coward). The pool of these points can be obtained by developing the appropriate skills, and regenerate them thanks to the drugs taken.
