Beware is an original survival horror, developed by Czech developer Ondřej Švadlena; in his portfolio you can find the short animation MRDRCHAIN, for which he received an award at the Clermont-Ferrand short film festival. The production was created with the PC platform in mind, and was created thanks to the financial support of the players.

Beware PC Download – Review:

In beware pc download, we impersonate the driver of a car, traversing the roads of a gloomy, communist state and collecting the necessary information. The hero must constantly fight for survival, because the heels trample him other road users, trying to make it difficult for him to complete the task.

The source of inspiration for the author were memories of his childhood spent in Czechoslovakia, where his family fell victim to repression by the totalitarian regime. Finally, the young Ondřej švadlenia and his mother managed to escape the country and settle in Canada, and after the fall of the “iron curtain” – to return to Europe to permanently reside in Germany.

In the released on the PC platform Beware PC Download, we observe the action from a first-person perspective (FPP). As in the first installment of the series driver, during the fun we do not get out of the car, here modeled on the communist works of motoring. The production puts at our disposal an open world, where we can move freely, carrying out the missions assigned to us. Not only close encounters with other drivers, but also chases and spectacular scenes from the action cinema of the 1970s will diversify the competition; there are also tasks that can only be carried out with caution.

The atmosphere of honor is built in Beware, both the sound layer and the gloomy color scheme; in addition, during the game we constantly move in the fog, and the darkness of the night is illuminated only by the few lanterns and lights of our vehicle.
