Before Your Eyes just an original narrative adventure, in which the control takes place mainly in front of our eyes. The production was developed by the independent studio Goodbye world games, and its release took the company Skybound Games. The project was created, among other things, thanks to a successful crowdfunding campaign on the Kickstarter service, and earlier its prototype, adopted by close your, Won The Game Developers Choice Awards at the Indiecade Festival and the Student Award at the Independent Game Awards gala.

The story told in Before Your Eyes Game Download is non-linear, so its course is shaped by the decisions we make. The main character of the game is Benjamin Brynn. After his death, the man got on the boat of a mysterious carrier, which, like the mythical Charon, is engaged in escorting souls to the underworld. However, to fulfill his duty, the carrier must hear from the protagonist the story of his life and learn all the secrets he hides. Benjamin cannot lie to him, because if he is caught cheating, he will be turned into a bird and will be stuck for eternity between life and death.

In before your eyes game download, the action is shown from a first person perspective (FPP). In the course of the fun, we watch the next memories of Benjamin – from the time of infancy and moments spent with his family, through his first love, to his artistic career. Over time, however, the positive flashbacks are drowned out by the much darker echoes of the past, which the carrier admonishes, wanting to know the whole truth about his life.

What sets Before your eyes apart from other games of this type is the controls. Because the production uses a webcam and through it observes our eyes. Blinking, we move to the next memories, take part in various minigames, and even make decisions projecting on the further course of the hero’s story. From time to time, this mechanism is also used in even more imaginative ways; for example, a scene in which our eyes must remain closed so that Benjamin can follow the voice of someone dear to him.

At many moments, a metronome appears on the screen, which signals that the next Blink will end the scene. In this case, in order to get the most out of a given memory, we must somehow fight with our reflex, trying to keep our eyes open as long as possible.
