The tale of bistun is an action adventure game with an isometric view inspired by a Persian poem that tells a tragic romance from the early middle ages. Production is handled by the Dutch studio Black Cube Games, assisted by the Polish publishing house IMGN.PRO.

The Tale of Bistun Download for PC – Review:

The Tale of Bistun is loosely based on the poem Chosrov and Shirin by Nizami Ganjavi, a Persian poet who lived at the turn of the 12th and 13th centuries. The song tells a fictional version of the tragic love of the king of Persia Khosrow II Parviz and his Christian wife Shirin.

The main character of the game wakes up with amnesia near the eponymous Behistun mountain. It is only in time that he learns his name and profession, but this is not enough for him to regain all his memories. Before he can achieve this goal, he will have a long journey through a world inspired by Persian myths and contaminated with mysterious corruption and through the ethereal land of lost memories.

The creators of the tale of bistun put on an infrequently used procedure. In the game the first violin is played by a book narrator, who not only tells this story, but also describes the thoughts of the hero. It is thanks to him that we learn the story of sacrifice and the hero forced to rediscover himself.

Fight plays first fiddle in The Tale of Bistun Download for PC. The action is shown in isometric view with a static camera, and the gameplay is reduced to traversing linear locations and turning arcade clashes with hordes of enemies native to Persian myths.

The combat system is quite simple. We have three weapons inspired by the tools of the sculptors: quick pickaxes, balanced axes and powerful hammers. Each of them also gives access to special abilities, for example, allowing you to summon the spirit of the goddess attacking nearby enemies. The hero can also do flips and run a short distance, which makes it easier to avoid attacks. This is so important that in the game there is no automatic regeneration of health-wounds heal only after the end of the clash.

The Tale of Bistun Download for PC was based on the Unity engine used in many independent productions. Created by the developer three-dimensional graphics do not impress with detail, although interesting use of colors and unusual style give the game an original style.
