The Great War Western Front Download takes us on a journey to the years 1914-1919, to the battlefields of World War I, namely-to the Western front. Production allows us to stand on the side of the Entente or the central states and take part in key battles, recreating historical events or changing the course of history.

The Great War: Western Front is a bird’s eye view. The gameplay takes place here as if on two levels, the first of which is to command the whole theater of actions. During the next rounds, we send units to battle, conduct research on new technologies and take care of supply lines and the distribution of resources along the entire length of the front. In addition, the title allows us to take on the role of field commander and take a direct part in individual battles. Clashes take place in real time, and during them we command troops, creating networks of trenches and storming enemy positions or defending ourselves from their attacks.

Variable weather conditions are implemented in the game. During the following months, skirmishes take place not only during the heat, but also during heavy rains or snowfall. The weather affects the effectiveness of our artillery and the mobility of units, so it is worth adjusting your tactics to it in time. In addition, our actions on the battlefield do not remain unaffected by the appearance of the locations in which clashes take place; artillery fire causes the formation of funnels in the ground, and tanks sinking into the mud create permanent furrows in it. Trenches, on the other hand, can serve us not only during a single battle, but also during subsequent ones, when the war returns to a given territory.

In addition to the extensive campaign, The Great War Western Front Download offers the opportunity to take part in individual historical battles. In addition, the game implemented a skirmish mode. The title also allows multiplayer play with other players over the Internet.
