The Callisto Protocol is the debut project of Striking Distance Studios, a company founded by Glen Schofield, executive producer of the first part of the Dead Space series. Steve Papoutsis, executive producer of the second and third instalments of the cult series, served as director of development. Like Isaac Clarke’s adventure, this production is a survival horror science fiction.

The Callisto Protocol PC Download takes us on a journey to the year 2320. The game takes place on the eponymous moon of Jupiter – Callisto, where the Black Iron prison is located.as a result of a mysterious incident, the prisoners in it began to turn into bloodthirsty monsters, but one of them, Jacob Lee, avoided this fate and now has to fight for survival. In order to survive and leave the facility, he must use every tool found on his way, regardless of whether it is intended for combat or not.

During the exploration, we will have to discover the secrets of Callisto, one of the least friendly places in space, both on and under its surface. Until now, they’ve been hidden by the company that manages all of Black Iron, the United Jupiter Company – and perhaps that shouldn’t change.

The Callisto Protocol PC Download takes place behind the back of the character. The motor skills of our hero, in a typical survival horror way, are very limited: we can only move slowly, occasionally accelerate, and climb or jump off selected objects. We defeat opponents with firearms and hand-to-hand combat, supporting ourselves with special power that allows us to throw heavy objects. During clashes, it is worth using the environment to your advantage: monsters can be thrown between the modes of machines or dropped from a height. However, we must be careful – we ourselves can also die in this way.

The graphics of the game at the time of its release was very high. Detailed models and detailed locations, combined with lighting and audio effects, created the dark climate of the Dead Moon.
