The Alters PC Download takes us to the science fiction universe. The main character of the game is Jan Dolski-a simple physical worker who, as the only one of the crew, survives an emergency landing of a spacecraft on an alien planet. As if that were not enough, the globe it hit is not a hospitable one, and things will become even more complicated when, as a result of its circulation and rotation, the radiation on its surface reaches a critical state.

The protagonist needs helpers to survive, so he decides to use a local resource called Rapidium to create alternative versions of himself – the eponymous alters. From now on, the hero gains additional pairs of hands to work, but he must begin to take care not only of himself, but also of individual alters, each of which has its own past, personality and individual skill set.

The gameplay of The Alters PC Download is based on two pillars. The first are stays in a mobile base, which we watch from the side, like in This War of Mine or Fallout Shelter. While in it, John must fulfill his duties, for which he most often needs the help of his clones. Alternate versions of the protagonist are created in a powerful, organic sphere called the Womb. When creating alternate versions of John, we make decisions that not only shape their past, but also affect their personality, skills, as well as their advantages and potential disadvantages. The key to success is to create such alters who will meet our current needs or effectively fill the “staffing” gaps.
