Six days in Fallujah is a tactical FPS telling about the real events that took place in Iraq during the second battle of Fallujah (7-16 November 2004). The history of this production was turbulent. It was announced in April 2009, as a TPP shooter created by the Atomic Games team, whose release was to be handled by Konami. However, due to the topic raised, the title aroused considerable controversy, so in the same month the Japanese giant decided to remove it from its portfolio. In the end, the developers were unable to complete the project, nor were they able to find a publisher for it. Eleven years later, in February 2021, it was announced that production was taken over by Highwire Games.
