Highwater is a production from the frontier of adventure games and turn-based strategy. The title was developed by Demagog Studio, whose portfolio includes such projects as Golf Club: Wasteland and the Cub, and was released by Rogue Games.

Highwater PC Download offers us a grim vision of a future in which the Whole Earth has changed beyond recognition as a result of a great climate catastrophe. Between the ravaged war zone and fortified Alphaville, where the richest have taken refuge behind giant walls, lies the flood-ravaged Hightower region. The main character of the game is Nikos, who travels through this dangerous world, heading to Alphaville, where he hopes to find salvation. Along the way, the protagonist must fight for food and eliminate enemies, but also encounters numerous friends who decide to join him.

The gameplay of Highwater PC Download is based on two pillars. The first of these is the exploration of the game world, during which we watch the action from a third-person perspective (TPP). Nikos and his entourage roam Hightower and other regions aboard a small boat, moving from island to island. On dry land, however, not only do we meet other survivors and gain valuable resources, but we also have to fight against the opponents we encounter. The second pillar of the gameplay are clashes that take place in turn-based mode. Watching them in isometric view, we give orders to Nikos and his team. On the battlefield, we use a variety of weapons and items that give us an advantage over enemies.

The graphic setting of the game Highwater was kept in a colorful, cartoon style. The fun takes place with the accompaniment of the radio station Highwater Pirate Radio – various programs make us love long trips and allow us to better feel the post-apocalyptic climate.
