Frozenheim is an extensive production from the borders of RTS and city builders. The game was developed by the independent studio Paranoid Interactive, and its release was handled by hyperstrange.

Frozenheim PC Download takes us on a journey to the Viking world. In the course of the game, we take on the role of a clan leader who has been banished from his native lands. The search for a place where the hero and his subordinates could settle, came to an end before the onset of winter. Although the protagonist and his siblings will face hard, strenuous work and the need to face various threats, the fruit of these actions will be the transformation of the piece of Midgard they discovered into their new home. Provided, of course, that they can rise to the challenge.

In Frozenheim PC Download we observe the action from a bird’s eye view. Our primary task in the game is to expand the Viking settlement. We need a variety of resources for this; while getting wood in the cold north is not a big problem, getting other resources requires organizing expeditions. In this way, we obtain materials that allow us to build new buildings and improve existing ones, among which we find objects related to production and improving the life of our Vikings, as well as religious buildings or, finally, military structures. As we progress, we gain access to a variety of development trees on which we discover new buildings and technologies.

Before we begin to reign in these lands for good, it is worthwhile to take care of the defense of your settlement in advance, surrounding it with a palisade and building watchtowers. Our actions will eventually begin to attract the attention of other residents of this territory, who do not need to look at them with a sympathetic eye. Then we have no choice but to raise the largest and most diverse army possible and go to war. Dynamic clashes do not lack tactical acuity, so the key to success is above all the skillful use of the strengths of each type of units under our orders.

Of course, our subjects will not build and fight for us if we do not take care of their other needs. So we must provide them with roofs over their heads, and also cultivate the land, organize hunting or even work on fishing to get food for them. Complicating matters is the fact that the Frozenheim PC Download has implemented variable seasons; while spring and summer are a time of prosperity, in autumn and winter we must focus primarily on survival.
