Elite: Dangerous is the fourth installment in the Elite series of sandbox space simulators. Production was developed by Frontier Developments under the leadership of David Braben, the creator of all previous editions of the game.

Elite Dangerous PC Download takes place in the distant future, at a time when humanity has colonized countless planetary systems. In the universe created by the authors, the dominant role is played by three superpowers – The Empire, the Federation and the Alliance. However, they do not control the entire inhabited space or even most of it. Outside their sphere of influence, there is anarchy and lawlessness, but the potential profits to be made in these deals are often worth the risk.

The essence of the game is simple – at the start we get a small ship and a small amount of cash, and then we will be thrown into a realistically mapped Milky Way with all known celestial bodies and four hundred billion star systems created with the observance of scale, the laws of physics and current astronomical knowledge.

It is up to us how the game goes. We decide for ourselves whether to become a star trader, smuggler, pirate, bounty hunter, Assassin, Explorer, miner or combine these activities at will.

The game features a complex model of flight simulation in zero gravity and attractive mechanics of clashes in space. A business career is also interesting. As a result of the player’s actions and world simulation procedures, the Galaxy undergoes constant changes that affect the economy, security, or strength and mutual relations of smaller factions in each inhabited system. This translates into prices and quantities of goods, the types of missions available, pirate activity, or conflicts in space in which players can participate. The participation of pilots, as a consequence, contributes to a change in the system of forces in the Galaxy.

Elite: Dangerous takes place 100% online, in one dynamic world shared by all players. However, in its framework, the creators offer several modes of fun. Open play, or open multiplayer. In addition to it, there are also private group-playing in a group of friends, and solo – playing without interacting with other players. The flexibility of the whole solution lies in the fact that it is possible to switch between these modes, except for the situation when a reward is set for the player.
