Direct Contact is a realistic FPS, inspired by such productions as the first parts of the Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon and Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six series, as well as the Operation Flashpoint and ArmA cycles. The title was developed by independent developer Erling David and is his debut project. In the development of the production in question, the author was assisted by military veterans.

In Direct Contact PC Download, we see the action from a first-person perspective (FPP). The game takes place in different locations in terms of size and challenges waiting for us. On their list we will find both vast “sandboxes”, as well as seemingly quiet suburbs or interiors of buildings.

The production is characterized by an incredible commitment to realism and detail. Shooting in series in a closed space is not the best idea here, because bullets behave according to the laws of physics, and ricochets can hit both enemies and US. In addition, enemies communicate with each other and constantly adapt their behavior to our style of play, so they can surprise us, taking us from the flank and leading us out into the field in various ways. However, when things do not go their way, they begin to fear us, which also does not remain without influence on their combat effectiveness. This is not the end, because the title allows us to arrest surrendering enemies or even overcome closed doors in several ways – calmly opening them, balancing or blowing up with small explosives. In addition, wounds sustained on the battlefield take time to heal, and after a hit, we often have to rely on the help of an ally.

All this makes that before starting the game we need to carefully analyze the tasks set before us and study the location map. Then you need to develop the most detailed plan of action and prepare accordingly, choosing the Arsenal and accessories for weapons and clothing. At our doorstep you can find various types of firearms, as well as optional gadgets in the form of explosives or devices that allow you to call support from the air to a specific place.

Direct Contact PC Download features a single-player story campaign and a co-op mode that allows you to complete missions together. The latter varied in scale, with both large-scale operations taking place over vast terrain and missions taking place within a single building. In addition, the title offers a multiplayer mode based on the principles of PvP.
