Cook Serve Forever is a production about cooking, with the borderline of arcade and simulation games. The title was developed by the independent studio Vertigo Gaming, in whose portfolio you can find a related genre series Cook, Serve, Delicious!.

Cook Serve Forever takes us on a journey to the solarpunk universe of science fiction, namely – to the fictional city of Helianthus. The main character of the game is Nori Kaga, who runs a “mobile restaurant” in the form of a small food truck. However, the girl dreams of becoming a world – famous “culinary queen”, like her idol-Chef Rhubarb.

As in the previous works of the studio, at Cook Serve Forever we are engaged in running our own restaurant on wheels. This time we do not have a food truck at our disposal, but a small food truck. However, this does not mean that we have less work here than before.

Our primary task is to fulfill orders placed by customers. The production gives us hundreds of different ingredients, which we chop, mix and fry, and then we prepare various dishes based on them. As it happens in this business, we rarely have the opportunity to do all this without haste; most often we have to deal with several things at the same time in order to issue orders as quickly as possible and not to allow long queues to form.

Cook Serve Forever boasts eye-pleasing graphics; particularly noteworthy are the realistic looking dishes. The story is conveyed, among other things, through cutscenes stylized into cartoon fragments. As for the sound layer – the voices of individual characters were used, among others, by Elspeth Eastman.
